Job Summary
Gardner Denver Assemblers work from procedures, visual work instructions, bill of materials, and/or blueprints to set-up and assemble rotary screw or reciprocating compressors, straight lobe blowers, and/or re-manufacture returned units.
Responsibilities
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
•Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials and Engineering controlled documents.
•Ability to identify and solve problems.
•Ability to pass certification for Powered Industrial Vehicle license.
•Ability to accurately read and interpret precision measurement tools i.e. Micrometer, Depth gauge, etc.
Basic Qualifications
•Mechanically inclined
•Understanding of basic/shop math
•Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team work setting
Key Competencies
•High school degree or High School Equivalency preferred
