Winamac company seeking a 1st Shift Hoist Builder MIG Welder. Starting pay is $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $22.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

Job Summary:

• Turn on and operate MIG welding machine.
• Operate torch and grinders
• Read tape measure and other measuring tools
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor/lead

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Turn on and operate MIG welding machine.
• Operate torch and grinders
• Read tape measure and other measuring tools
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor/lead
• Use of overhead crane to drill press the holes required for job

Welder Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• This role requires frequent standing and walking
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Understanding of simple hydraulics and plumbing
• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Ability to be calm under pressure
• Flexibility
• Attention to detail
