Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and driven Special Education Teacher near Chapin, IL!

Responsibilities:

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Assess students' skills and determine their educational needs.
• Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and teacher program approved by the state.
• Basic skills test (SAT or ACT); Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS) tests depending on grade level and specialization
• Experience working with students with disabilities and knowledge of best practices in special education instruction.
