Position: Agronomy Warehouse Manager

Fulltime position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and distribution of agronomy products.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with sales and agronomy teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate shipments and deliveries.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all warehouse equipment is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and initiatives, contributing to overall business success.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in agronomy or agricultural operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with vendors and customers.
