Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and distribution of agronomy products.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to optimize performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with sales and agronomy teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate shipments and deliveries.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all warehouse equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and initiatives, contributing to overall business success.
- Proven experience in agronomy or agricultural operations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with vendors and customers.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience. $45-55k
