Job Title: RN - Med/Surg Department

Required Skills:

• Ability to be courteous, diplomatic, and tactful when interacting with others
• Ability to remain calm
• Ability to follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent, or unexpected events
• Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties
• Able to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Two years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Respond effectively to emergent, urgent, or unexpected events with calm and professionalism
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet patient care needs
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to maintain patient safety and well-being
