LPN / RN - Brandon (Part-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides professional nursing care for office patients following established policies and procedures.
Greets patients and prepares them for providers examination.
Takes and records the patient’s vital signs and immunization status.
Obtains a brief history, allergies, complaints and current medication lists.
Assists providers during treatment and examination of the patient.
Performs general nursing care for patients.
Administers prescribed medications as directed.
Performs certain lab tests and documents results in EMR

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of an accredited LPN school of nursing program and current Vermont State
License or Certified Medical Assistant
Documented medical experience with full knowledge of medications and their effects, patient education, examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures
Employee Health Record knowledge and experience
