We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly of equipment and WM products, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to established processes. If you are skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools, possess a good understanding of production processes, and thrive in a collaborative work environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Follow verbal and written work instructions, processes and procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Use a variety of hand and power tool, measuring instruments and gauges
• Follow all quality and established assembly process requirements
• Reassembles or reworks units as required
• Keep alignment procedures within set tolerances
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Train other employees
• Meet or exceed the standard hours on each job
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Maintain a professional company image always
• Productively participate in a Continuous Improvement work environment

Below are some requirements for this specific role:

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• General math knowledge

EXPERIENCE:

• Vocational school, technical college training, or mechanical experience is preferred

SKILLS:

• Must be mechanically inclined
• Have a good understanding of production processes and methods
• Must be able to safely use various hand and air tools
• Ability to assemble parts and equipment per print specifications
• Team player who can work independently
• Ability to follow proper safety protocols
• Ability to retain learned knowledge

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist
• Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours each day
• Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb on a ladder to access all parts of the machine
