Extrusion Operator: Janesville, Wisconsin
Our customer in Janesville, Wisconsin is a leading manufacturer of plastic glazing products. For over 50 years, they have been recognized for innovation, quality, and durability. They are looking for an ambitious individual to join their team as an Extrusion Operator for 1st shift. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and production goals are met.
Responsibilities of the Extrusion Operator:
- Operate and maintain extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.
- Set up and adjust machine settings according to product specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Extrusion Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in plastics manufacturing or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read a metric ruler and micrometer.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and fix machines.
- Mold and die experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Pay for Extrusion Operator: $19.00/hour
Extrusion Operator Benefits:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
