Currently we are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Workforce Development Specialist. The position will provide case management services to assist WIOA participants in obtaining and maintaining employment in Wythe and Bland Counties and will be stationed in Wytheville One-Stop Center located at Wytheville Community College. Services may include eligibility determination, assessment, workplace counseling, tutoring, leadership development, work activities, job search, post employment activities, job development/placement assistance and follow-up. Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to work independently are required. A Bachelor’s degree in related human service field and two years of experience in counseling and case management, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities are required.
