Overview:
Our client is looking for an astute individual to further the quality control of our products and presentation. If you enjoy the creative, fast-paced process of software development, read on. This position is at their Billerica, MA office, currently observing a hybrid home/office work model.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the testing and qualification of company products, including software, documentation, and websites
- Assessing the visual elements of our products, marketing, and product presentation for quality and consistency
- Proofreading copy for marketing, technical, user-facing, and instructional documentation
What you must have:
- Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design, and test execution
- Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality issues
- Comfort with current platforms and technologies, including desktop, web, and mobile devices
- Comfort with HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Imaging applications, database concepts, and CLI in a Linux environment
- Ability to work independently and manage your own timeline
- Tremendous attention to detail, consistency, and continuity
