A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT ENGINEER

As a Project Engineer, you collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to make sure that projects go off without a hitch. You prepare, monitor, and update project schedules and work closely with the superintendent to reduce the impact of project constraints on the schedule. With an independent and confident approach to your assignments, you prepare, maintain, and implement various document control entities such as daily reports, material procurement logs, submittal logs, as-builts, testing and inspection logs, RFI logs, and change order logs.

Your excellent organizational skills are essential as you prepare agendas, documents, meeting minutes, and actions for various meetings with the owner, architects, contractors, or subcontractors. Your verbal and written communication skills seamlessly guide you through these meetings and meetings with the construction management team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
