SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this position is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance Department, to ensure the manufacturing and shipment of products according to standards and customer requirements, to promote continual improvement activities and provide strategic quality planning for the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Will include the following but is not limited to:
- Establish, maintain, and improve in-process quality systems, plans and verification evaluation audits to ensure high product and service quality to customers.
- Develop and provide leadership for capability assessments, quality planning, audit system development and statistical analyses to ensure all processing steps produce the planned result at each operation.
- Establish meaningful quality performance metrics and timely visible monitoring and communication.
- Working closely with operations, provide leadership and guidance to maximize quality standards, production output, schedule compliance while minimizing cost.
- Prepare and submit reports on quality performance and cost.
- Interface with customers regularly on product quality.
- Implement the required programs/processes to achieve and maintain ISO certification status.

- Arriving at work on time for every scheduled shift.

- Training on QMS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year degree in engineering or related field of technology and science
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the administration of a Quality Management System
- Advanced computer knowledge of MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, etc. and database systems
- Experience with statistical analysis and problem solving
- Knowledge and experience with strategic quality planning

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The associate frequently is required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to support production needs.
- The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
