Job Description
Job Summary: As a Representative II for Drug & Health Services Operations,
you will perform drug screen collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines, which includes direct observation when needed.
Essential Functions:
Performs breath alcohol testing using intoximeters such as the Alco-Sensor IV and follow DOT alcohol testing guidelines.
Performs hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines.
Informs the Service Center Manager of all unusual circumstances surrounding all tests performed.
Carries a mobile phone for scheduled time periods and performs after-hours emergency drug and alcohol testing when needed.
Travels and performs drug and alcohol testing off site when needed.
Performs on-site drug and alcohol collections for companies in Vermont and Bordering States.
Will regularly drive a (non-CDL) commercial vehicle to travel.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be age 21 or over per CFR 391.11
DOT Certified Urine Specimen Collector or must obtain certification within two (2) weeks from date of hire.
DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) Certified or must obtain certification within two (2) weeks from date of hire.
Hair Collection Training Certificate or must obtain within thirty (30) days from date of hire.
Will successfully obtain a DOT Health Card and meet the instructor's minimum requirements for driver training within two (2) weeks from date of hire.
Paid on the job training.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience in drug testing, breath alcohol testing, pulmonary function testing or fit testing applications.
Nurse Assistant, Medical Technician, Phlebotomy or other related certifications.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual.
DISAWorks® system experience.
Travel %: 100
Work Schedule: Days, Weekends and On Call Rotation. Typical days are 6:00 am to 4:00 pm EST, but this is not always the case. Must be able to work a varied schedule.
