Requirements:
1. A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. State licensure or eligibility for licensure is required.
2. Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable.
3. Prior experience as a Speech Therapist preferred, particularly in diagnosing and treating various communication disorders across different age groups and settings.
4. New grads are welcome to apply.
5. Current CPR certification.

Job Summary:
As a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will embark on a rewarding journey to provide essential speech therapy services to individuals across various locations and settings. Responsibilities:
1.Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, setting realistic goals and objectives tailored to each patient's needs.
3. Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expression.
4. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about communication disorders, therapeutic techniques, and strategies for improving speech and language skills outside of therapy sessions.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines regarding documentation and reporting.
6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and educators, to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
7. Stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education, workshops, conferences, and professional development activities.
