Responsible for providing technical support to departmental network and computer operations by troubleshooting and resolving issues with IT systems when they ariseDuties:Configures hardware installations and system applications. Installs all computer hardware and associate equipment and all software packagesPerforms diagnostic testing and troubleshooting. Resolves IT issues in a timely mannerCommunicates with employees to discuss problemsAssists employees through the process of fixing software, e-mail, web, and other application issuesPrioritizes workload to ensure the most critical issues are resolved firstDocuments common support procedures that employees can followMay provide support remotelyEnsures optimal performance of the system by working with external software and hardware consultants and manufacturer representativesPerforms various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Job Location
Required Education: Bachelor's degree AND:
- 36 months experience as IT Help Desk, Client Support, or related field
Skills:
- Knowledge of different applications and systems
- Ability to diagnosis and solve IT problems
- Knowledge of remote desktop applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Physical: Sits for prolonged periods of time. Use of computer. Manual dexterity. Communicate effectively and listens.
- Environmental: Standard Office Environment.
