The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager in a manufacturing environment. In a location with at least 80+ employees. If they currently do not live in the Winamac, IN area they must be able to relocate to the area at our cost. They will have a strong background in employee engagement (i.e., employee recognition, employee picnics, etc.), as well as experience with training, hiring, etc.

Ideal candidates will play a key role in elevating our department. Integrity, professionalism, and a balanced perspective are must-haves for our Human Resource Manager.

What You’ll Do:

· Spearhead the management and implementation of Human Resources Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Tools for your designated mill.

· Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to tailor organizational HR policies to the mill’s specific context, ensuring they’re both adequate and well-understood by staff.

· Conduct on-site employee training, facilitating the development and execution of suitable HR management responses, including plans and Standard Operating Procedures that align with Plymouth’s policy and standards.

· Offer expert HR advice across all levels of staff, leading the overall HR functions such as workforce planning, recruitment, staff administration management, and more for your designated mills.

· Participate in departmental activities, aiming for continuous education, engagement in annual conferences, and research activities.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not mandatory; 5+ years in Human Resources Management essential.

· HR Professional Certification (SPHR) or SHRM-SPC is a plus.

· Multi-site HR management experience is highly regarded.

· Exceptional communication skills and professional presence.

· Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures, with a generalist background.

· Proficient with MS Office and experience with HRIS, preferably Ceridian Dayforce.
