Design Engineer

A design engineer will consult directly with customers to provide a product that meets their needs. One will work directly with the manufacturing and engineering teams to develop new designs and continuously improve Gar-Bro's standard product line. Daily tasks may include improving manufacturing processes, drafting preliminary designs and production prints using computer-aided design, general sales, and new product engineering.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, product design, or relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate and strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and popular design software (AutoCad and Inventor).
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
