MVP’s mission is to improve human safety and performance through applied robotics in grueling environments.  MVP Robotics is a small and lean start-up company born out of Dartmouth College, currently based in Bradford, VT.  MVP’s robotic tackling dummies have been eliminating practice injuries on the football field since 2015 at all levels, from the NFL to youth football. MVP has developed a robotic live-fire shooting target that offers realistic, dynamic training for our armed forces.  MVP Robotics continues to develop next-generation training and operational tools to overcome the challenges of tomorrow. 

Job Description
MVP is seeking a motivated, organized, and skilled Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems related to autonomous operation of unmanned systems. 

Key areas of responsibility:

• Research and evaluate sensor technology
• Design electrical circuits at a systems-level for robust operation in challenging environments
• Collaborate closely with Software, Controls and Mechanical engineers to solve complex problems
• Prototype and field test solutions
• (Preferred) Develop and maintain firmware for subsystems
• (Preferred) Mechanical design competency

• PCBA Design (KiCad, Altium or Equivalent)
• Power Electronics
• Microcontrollers
• Prototyping: Crimping, Soldering
• Debugging tools: Oscilloscope, Multimeter
• (Preferred) Software: C, Linux, Embedded Systems
• (Preferred) Computer vision
• (Preferred) RF systems expertise

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ Years experience in industry (internship/co-ops considered)
• Effective Communicator
• Authorization to work in the USA
