Diesel Technician

Experienced Diesel Technician   $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!
Work Schedule:          10-hour shift
Monday – Friday     5:00am–3:30pm or 6:30am-5:00 pm
Pay: $25.00 – $39.00 per hour depending on work experience

Responsibilities:

• Make major and minor repairs on trucks and trailers, including but not limited to: engine repairs and tune ups, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmission work, cooling systems, chassis repairs, brake work
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, etc.
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop

Required and Preferred qualifications are:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician working on CLASS 8 vehicles
• Cummins, and Detroit Certified candidates are given top hiring priority
• CDL preferred
• Must have necessary tools to perform position responsibilities
• Steady work experience
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• Bonus points if you have previous engine overhaul experience
