Four Points RV Resorts, is seeking a highly skilled maintenance manager for the Jellystone Lake Monroe Location, who will captain a team of maintenance staff to uphold the upkeep and repairs of the company’s facilities. Being the maintenance head means that the company’s physical assets and facilities are under the jurisdiction of the maintenance manager. Being an intuitive professional with innate problem-solving abilities is the ideal skill set that this job requires. The role of a maintenance manager is to lead all the maintenance procedures and activities within the park. Be it adhering to safety regulations, to ensuring timely completion of tasks or projects, a maintenance head works around the buildings, offices and landscapes of the organization. With a whole team of maintenance staff to monitor and guide, the maintenance in charge oversees maintenance at different scales, be it repair, upkeep, or development. A maintenance manager job is planning intensive managerial job which requires being a natural leader with exceptional organizational skills, in order to effectively create and execute maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper maintenance of the equipment and physical assets of the company, be it the building, office space, or machinery
• Work as a facility manager and do periodic checks of all the facilities that fall under the company, while ensuring that all safety standards are adhered to
• Make certain that all the budgets set of maintenance are observed and all maintenance work is completed in a timely manner
• Lead, train and monitor the maintenance staff
• Must be able to handle heavy lifting
• Customer service skills are important and helping access and solve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  

Objectives of this role

• Strive towards the seamless running of the facility and the equipment of the company through efficient facility management work
• Work as a repair manager, and implement periodic investigations and inspections into each and every piece of physical equipment of the company
• Adhere to safety standards and legal regulations while executing maintenance management tasks and programs
• Train, guide and evaluate staff members as a director of maintenance
• Learn about new processes, procedures and equipment that are being used worldwide, and try to adopt relevant processes into the company’s maintenance management work.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance and repair-related activities in the company, keeping in mind the roles of a repair manager
• Supervise the condition of all the equipment in the establishment and the potential upgrades and maintenance it might need as a preventive maintenance plan
• Manage the budgets of the maintenance plans, and ensure that everything is in line with legal and safety regulations
• Assist all other departments with needs related to maintenance of their departments.
• Aquatic Area are kept up to state and local standards with a commitment to safety of guest and employees.

Required skills and qualifications

• Prior experience working as a maintenance manager, repair manager, or in a related role
• Experience in dealing with budgets, schedules and reporting in terms of maintenance work
• Understanding of legal safety regulations
• Knowledge of equipment and facilities machines

Preferred skills and qualifications

• CPO (certified pool operator) will help attain
• Maintenance of small machines and equipment
• Demonstrated experience working in a management role
