Service Inside Sales

Job Description: The Service Inside sales position plays a critical role in the growth of Air Compressor Solutions as it is responsible for maintaining our customer engagement and provides ongoing maintenance support of the equipment once it is in use.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a safe working environment by being mindful of surroundings and safe operation of equipment.
• Follow up with customers to ensure equipment meets their needs and grow relationships with customer base to sell preventative maintenance agreements on equipment.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a clear and informative manner.
• Builds rapport with customers and works to ensure they receive excellent service.
• Provides pricing, delivery, and other order information to customers.
• Drafts purchase orders and invoices to submit to the accounting department.
• Deliver Customer Service by responding to customer needs in a timely manner with accuracy and detail.
• Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Field and resolve customer issues and questions.
• Establish, develop, and service new customer accounts.
• Effectively use technology-based Customer Relationship Management tool for lead follow up, sales cycle disposition, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking
• Keeps comprehensive and accurate notes in the system.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certificate, some college preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing related, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop existing and prospective accounts.
• Strong customer service orientation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• MS-Excel, MS-Office and MRP knowledge are a must.
• The ideal candidate must have strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
