We’re currently seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our amazing team.
Details of the Family Practice Physician opening:
- Anticipated start date: ASAP
- Anticipated duration of assignment: 3 to 6-month minimum with possibility to extend
- Anticipated schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (No call coverage and closed on all major holidays)
- Salary: $100/ hr
Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Family Practice Physician:
- Perform the initial assessment of the patient and actively participate in all aspects of patient care, including history and physical, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, procedures, writing orders, and interactions with family.
- Payer mix – 35% Medicare, 15% Medicaid, 35% Commercial, balance is “other”
- Age distribution – pediatric to geriatric, high elderly population in area
- Patients per day – Average 20-24 for full day office visits
- Tertiary Care/Transfer Facilities
- Support Staffing
- 1:1 MA support
What You’ll Need to Qualify for this Role:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid and unrestricted in-state medical license
- Board certification
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
