Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Clerk tasks will consist of matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Receivable. This is a dynamic, team-oriented workspace, great benefits, and future career advancement opportunity. This is a long-term temporary to hire employment opportunity based in the Mt. Pleasant, Iowa area.

This is a contract-to-hire position that involves performing data entry tasks for shipping and receiving in our warehouse. This position will start immediately.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurate data entry for all shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse.

2. Documentation of all distribution issues and maintenance of relevant supporting information.

3. General Ledger coding responsibilities.

4. Verification of quality for incoming and outgoing inventory.

5. Importing and exporting data via Excel spreadsheets.

6. Utilization of specific software such as PrintStream and Dynamail, as well as Excel, for all relevant accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting would be beneficial.

2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.

3. A desire to learn and grow professionally.

4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

This is an on-site position based in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, requiring full-time, in-person attendance. The pay rate for this role ranges from $17-19/hr
