Travel Float Pool Med Surg RN in Utica, NY

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Float Pool RN to join a reputable healthcare facility in Utica, NY. This position allows you to utilize your expertise in various medical-surgical units, gaining exposure to a wide range of patient conditions and treatments. You'll contribute to exceptional patient care across different departments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on medical-surgical units, adapting to different patient populations and healthcare settings.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and perform nursing procedures based on individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions, document patient progress, and respond appropriately to changes in their health status.
• Utilize med surg and some telemetry experience to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a med surg setting.
• Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing and some telemetry experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Utilize Epic
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and healthcare settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 12 hr night shift environment
