As a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Marketing and Communications team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Communication. Position Summary

The Marketing Manager at OSF plays a crucial role within the Marketing and Communications team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Communication. This dynamic individual will contribute to executing creative and measurable multichannel campaigns, ensuring alignment with the company's Marketing & Communication plan. The ideal candidate should be a creative and highly organized team player with excellent communication skills, capable of managing resources efficiently and meeting established timelines.


Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Organize and execute creative and measurable multichannel campaigns within budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communication team to maintain consistency in messaging and visuals across all MarCom efforts.

 

Analysis and Recommendations

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, interpret results, and provide recommendations for improving effectiveness.
  • Analyze category and syndicated datasets (e.g., Nielsen IRI) to bring actionable insights to the company.

 

Event Support

  • Responsible for executing various marketing tactics, such as exhibitions, events, and sponsorships.
  • Develop pre-established objectives, prepare post-event reports, and ensure effective follow-through.

 

Sales Support

  • Design collateral, presentations, and promotional materials to support sales teams.
  • Prepare creative business presentations for internal and external use.

 

Brand Consistency

  • Ensure corporate identity, brand guidelines, and essential messaging are consistent in all corporate and marketing communications.

 

Content Creation and Management

  • Prepare digital and print marketing campaigns or materials with the communications team.
  • Manage and maintain company and brand websites, ensuring current and relevant content.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and support the company's internal communication strategy.

 

Vendor Management

  • Manage assigned projects with external vendors, building relationships to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Market Research and Growth Opportunities

  • Identify new opportunities for customer growth by researching potential buyers' needs and buying habits.

 

Legal and Communications Liaison

  • Serve as the lead liaison for legal and communications reviews across departments.

 

Influencer Relations

  • Manage relationships with influencers on sponsored blog posts and promoted social media posts.

 

Social Media Management

  • Lead the development and posting of OSF's social media strategies across various platforms.
  • Develop a social media content calendar, campaigns, and promotions to achieve measurable targets.

 

Brand Advocacy

  • Become a brand advocate, consistently representing the voice of the Arctic® brand across all platforms.

 

Professional Development

  • Stay apprised of current marketing trends and techniques.

 

Review and Oversight

  • Manage and review work performed by assigned sub-contractors, vendors, or OSF support staff, including content drafted.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.


Requirements

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience and a proven track record of success in previous communications-related responsibilities, especially media relations and crisis management. Experience marketing fresh food is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree related to Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations.
  • Enthusiastic, positive energy that aligns with the company's entrepreneurial attitude.
  • A skilled, creative, passionate communicator able to digest technical subject matter and communicate it to others (including laypersons).
  • Self-motivated and possessing skillset and confidence to proactively develop and drive OSF's communications strategy and execution. Nor
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful development and execution of a multi-platform, social media / online strategy to achieve business goals. Ability to assess and analyze performance results and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills coupled with solid proficiency in various communications programs and applications.
  • Ability to develop creative visual and written content appropriate to the specific audience(s) and/or social network.
  • Required software experience:
    • Proficient: MS Office software
    • Above-average skills utilizing Adobe Acrobat Pro and graphic design software
    • Power-user and creator in PowerPoint. Must be very experienced at creating pitch decks and content for executive team presentations.
  • Goal- and team-oriented mentality that enables the candidate to effectively coordinate communications activities with other team members while setting and achieving measurable goals and outreach targets.
  • Impeccable attention to detail in all communications-related activities.
  • Professional in writing, by phone, by video, and in person.
