Let’s talk. \r\nResponsibilities:\r\n•\tVerifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming chief complaints.\r\n•\tPrepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.\r\n•\tAssisting physicians with the patient examination, procedures and drawing blood, and laboratory testing.\r\n•\tCollaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of patient care plan.\r\n•\tFollow protocol and established guidelines for infection control (sterilization of instruments, handling of pathogens and bodily fluids, disposal of hazardous waste\r\n•\tSecures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.\r\n•\tMaintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.\r\n•\tServes and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.\r\n•\tUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.\r\n•\tEnhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSkills:\r\n\tVitals\r\n\tEKG\r\n\tXray\r\n\tProficient in phlebotomy (Required)\r\n\tAdminister vaccines and other injections within the scope of the practice.\r\n\tSpecimen collections and laboratory testing\r\n\tIn-house testing for FLU, \r\n\tSterilization\r\n\tKnowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy and physiology\r\n\r\nEducation and Certification:\r\n•\tCertified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)\r\n•\tOr Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA or CCMA)\r\n\r\n Experience:\r\n\r\n\t1+ years in a medical office\r\n\tPrevious experience in specific medical field preferred\r\n\r\nWhat We Offer:\r\n\t100% Employee Paid Health Insurance\r\n\tDental Insurance\r\n\tPTO\r\n\tPaid Holidays \r\n\tUniform Allowance\r\n\t401K Program\r\n\tLunch Provided on Specific Days\r\n \r\nSalary: Compensation is a starting wage based on experience, merit increase is evaluated at 90 days then yearly.
