Supply Chain Analyst - Part-time

Our client is undergoing the process of acquiring another business, and needs a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team and assist during this acquisition. This individual will work to assist with vendor accounts, managing supply inventories, and overall assist with analyzing logistics during the acquisition.  

Role Objectives:

• Monitor supply chains and shipments with existing vendors
• Engage in regular communication with current clients
• Ensure timely schedules for client orders 
• Maintain accurate and consistent records of inventory for multiple locations
• Manage inventory databases and physical inventory when needed

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordinate timely and accurate shipments
• Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
• Identify and fix shipping errors 
• Prepare bills and invoices
• Oversee production timelines
• Receive orders and add to inventory

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong communications skills
• Excellent organizational capacity
• 1+ years of experience in logistics or high volume inventory control

Additional Details:

• This is a fully on-site role which may require occasional travel between Waterbury and Manchester, CT
• 40 hours/ week- M-F 1st shift
• This is an on-going contract role that will continue through August 2024 with the chance to be extended
