Financial Accountant
Location: Florence, AL
Duties Include but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Process Grant Reimbursement Requests and prepare Grant Budgets
- Process Payroll
- Prepare for Audit, Monitor General Ledger
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes Required
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to domestic violence issues
- Ability to keep client information secure and confidential
- Ability to keep personnel information secure and confidential
- Ability and willingness to take direction from supervisor
- Ability to work as a team member and also independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office, database systems, Windows Operating Systems, MIP accounting software with accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 2+ years in broad based accounting
- Non-profit accounting experience preferred
- Reliable vehicle, proof of insurance and valid driver’s license
- Physically capable of doing general office work
Shift: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
