This contract role includes per diem, temp housing, and travel allowance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues to provide comprehensive patient care
- Take on direct patient care duties as required by the department's demands
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels by communicating needs, hiring staff, and predicting future needs based on workload
- Develop an annual budget and operate efficiently and effectively
- Ensure department employees meet all license and education requirements; competencies and training needs are met
- Offer support and assistance in various departmental tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited nursing school, BSN preferred
- 3 years in acute care, supervisory experience required
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC
