**Position Overview:**
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing hospital computer-based software and hardware. Your excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly will be key assets in this role.

**Essential Job Duties:**
- Client workstation administration with Windows 10
- Medical application experience preferred (e.g., MEDITECH, GEPACS)
- Desktop and application virtualization experience preferred (e.g., VMWare VIEW)
- CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified IT Professional preferred
- Basic Microsoft Office experience required
- Basic networking knowledge including an understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivation and positive attitude
- Collaboration with Systems Administrator
- On-call duties every 4th week including nights and weekends
- Additional duties as assigned

**Equipment and Work Aids:**
- Computers, switches, servers, and wireless technologies

**Qualifications:**
- Preferred Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Good math, English, typing, and clerical skills
- Ability to collaborate with others and accept change
- High tolerance for stress
