CNC Supervisor - Full-time

Purpose:

PALIoT Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong leadership and supervisor skills, who will oversee our CNC department. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency in CNC operations, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a track record of improving processes, optimizing machine efficiency, and leading a team to achieve exceptional levels of productivity and quality.

Essential Job Functions:

Own, manage, troubleshoot, create, and optimize all CNC programs for parts made in house.

• Has a positive and friendly attitude and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
• Lead and manage the CNC team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
• Ensure all CNC operations comply with company standards and specifications, with a strong commitment to quality and precision.
• Monitor CNC machine operations, conduct regular maintenance checks, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce strict safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
• Train and mentor CNC operators, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices in CNC machining.
• Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and quality control, to streamline production processes and resolve any technical issues.
• Analyze production data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in machine utilization, waste reduction, and overall efficiency.
• Manage inventory of tools, materials, and other supplies, ensuring availability and optimal stock levels.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, with a comprehensive understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a CNC setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and experience enforcing safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Technical proficiency, including the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with quality assurance practices and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.

Compensation details: 75000-95000 Yearly Salary
