Job Summary


Lourdes University seeks an innovative, highly skilled, and strategic leader to serve as its next Vice President of Enrollment Management.


Reporting directly to the President of the University, the Vice President for Enrollment Management is the senior administrator responsible for the University's student enrollment, financial aid, and communications & marketing departments, working directly with each academic and administrative unit to ensure that students have a seamless enrollment experience.

Operation of these units must be conducted in a way that will support and expand the financial sustainability of the University.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic, visionary, and overarching leadership for the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and Communications & Marketing.
  • Provide leadership and direction in the creation, establishment, and coordination of recruitment, and marketing activities, including New Student Orientation.
  • Implement a data driven, results oriented, campus-wide communication plan to inform the campus community about the recruitment and retention efforts taking place.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates programs, policies, and procedures in collaboration with academic and student affairs divisions to enhance enrollment goals ensuring compliance with state and federal mandates.
  • Sets performance expectations and customer service standards for each unit in Admissions, Financial Aid and Communications & Marketing and monitors and evaluates offices against those standards.
  • Establishes a financial aid model that aligns with the University's vision, mission, and enrollment goals.
  • Develops sustainable relationships with K-12, higher education institutions, community, and corporate partners that further enhance the University's mission, vision, and enrollment goals.
  • Develops, coordinates, and implements strategic data-driven marketing/branding strategies.
  • Has awareness of trends and technology, student recruitment & retention communication., higher ed issues and overall external relations.
  • Provides strong leadership, vision, strategic planning, and further development in the functional areas of communication and marketing; publications; advertising and digital media.


Miscellaneous:

  • Serves on President's Cabinet and President's Extended Cabinet
  • Serves as co-chair of the Enrollment Management Advisory Committee
  • Serves on University committees, as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A master's degree is required along with successful and progressive professional and leadership experience suitable for appointment at the vice president level and a significant record of success in admissions, financial aid and communication and marketing operations and staff management.
  • Demonstrated experience in executive level organizational leadership; strategic planning; personnel management, verbal, and written communication; problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience with current best practices in enrollment management/admissions and financial aid processes; a record of visionary, collaborative, proactive, ethical, and dynamic leadership resulting in meeting or exceeding enrollment targets; and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Experience utilizing intercollegiate athletic recruitment in planning to grow student enrollment and improve retention.
  • Familiarity with Slate, and higher education software and student information systems highly desired.
