Journeyman Electrician - Full-time

Position: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Marquette

What's the job?

• Journeyman Electrician
• Perform site visits to gather info for quoting installations on standby generators.
• Perform electrical work on residential and non-residential generators systems according to code.
• Installation of solar systems and battery storage systems.
• Assist in the completion of generator start-ups, ensure correct location, proper ventilation, and gas line sizing requirements. Meeting local codes and requirements.
• Perform generator and transfer switch swap outs and upgrades.
• Perform scheduled inspections on equipment, generators, transfer switches, switch gear, panel boards, etc., to prevent future failure and possible quoting for upgrades.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations

What's needed?

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have Journeyman Electrical License
• 2+ years of experience in electrical work, repair, and installation.
• Installation and troubleshooting of generators; experience with Generac, Cummins, Onan, Kohler, and/or Cat preferred
