  • Assist in the development and ongoing review of detailed financial models to enable corporate planning and budgeting
  • Compile internal and external presentations, including investor presentations, quarterly and YE earnings releases and presentations, board materials and regular internal reviews
  • Prepare variance reports, comparing budget expectations to actual results and consensus
  • Run financial models to analyze impacts of various operational and financial sensitivity cases
  • Capital markets evaluation and execution
  • Assist in the evaluation of acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives by developing corporate merger models, analyzing optimal financing structures and conducting accretion / dilution analysis
  • Develop and maintain internal NAV model to inform capital allocation decisions
  • Support internal hedging committee through the monitoring and review of hedge positions, and assist in analysis of the commodity markets as necessary
  • Participate in other strategic projects and ad-hoc financial analysis, as needed



  • BS in Finance or a related discipline required
  • 2+ years of experience required. Experience can be in corporate finance at an oil and gas company and/or investment banking (focused on the oil and gas sector)
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining financial models, with a focus on E& P corporate and valuation models
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
