N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Scientific Program Analyst to support our customer the National Institute Health (NIH) Office Intramural Research providing support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives. This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability test.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Become a key member of the team providing programmatic support in the implementation of major events for the Graduate Partnership Program (GPP) while working with the Graduate Student Council (GSC) and providing accurate and timely updates to both GPP leadership on activities and communication with GSC members

  • Assist the GPP with the following administrative activities:

    • Respond to requests for information on GPP programs

    • Assist in the collection of GPP applications and organized interview days

    • Collaborate in the development of marketing and recruiting strategies for the GPP

    • Assist with the information distribution to the GPP student body

    • Coordinate actives with the administrative, financial, and admissions units

    • Contribute to performing the official GPP rotation and dissertation place approval process

  • Collaborate with the GPP Director Deputy and staff to assist with event planning and major activities:

    • Monthly GSC meetings

    • Maintenance of the GSC by-laws

    • Support biomedical science subcommittees

      • GPP Retreat committee , GPP Symposium Committee, Teaching and Mentoring Committee, and Social Committee

  • Collaborate with staff on major Office of Intramural Training (OITE) events

    • Graduate professional school fair

    • NIH career symposium

    • NIH community college day

    • Take your child to work day

  • Develop and lead the implementation of the eight-week Office of Intramural Training & Education English Communication for visiting scientists EVCS program by evaluating content, advertising event, organizing speakers, running the events, and participate in the presentations

  • Deliver seven lectures on scientific writing topics, solicit advice and resources from experts to ensure quality of information, recruit guest lecturers, conducted daily or weekly writing check-ins for participant accountability, address student questions and provided additional writing resources

  • Travel to branch campuses to provide trainee support services High School Scientific and Enrichment Program (HiStep) activities

    • Participate in the selection process including reviewing applications, interviewing top candidates, and selecting final participants

    • Utilize expertise in training for high school students and create science and career development workshop activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in biology or other biomedical field or three years of specialized experience paired with a Bachelor's degree

  • Working knowledge with marketing, community outreach, and or communication

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills

  • U.S. Citizenship
