Position Title: Welder

\nWage: $19-$25/hour DOE

\nShift: 1st
\n
\nHours: 7am-3:30pm
\n
\nQPS Employment Group is working with a leading manufacturer of asphalt plant equipment and parts to fill several DIRECT HIRE welding and fabricating roles for a company in Waverly, Iowa. If you have 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, possess strong welding skills, and are committed to producing high-quality work, we encourage you to apply.

\nWelder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
\n- Weld mild steel using GMAW and FCAW processes
\n- Interpret blueprints accurately
\n- Perform visual inspections for weld defects
\n- Use cutting equipment and metal finishing tools
\n- Maintain a safe work environment
\n- Operate forklifts
\n
\nWelder Requirements:
\n- 2+ years of welding experience
\n- Experience with large structures is a plus
\n- Proficiency in tools and equipment use
\n- Basic math skills and blueprint reading
\n- Knowledge of safety practices
\n- Lift 40+lbs
\n
