Job Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
• Obtain laboratory sample, collection, process, and interpret results as directed by doctor including by not limited to fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, and blood smears.
• Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)
• Prep and anesthetize surgical patients and perform dental cleanings
• Radiographs
• Effectively communicate and educate clients
• Use of computerized medical records and invoicing

Qualifications

• State of NY Veterinary Technician License required
• Motivated to maintain standards and high quality of patient care, and excellent client services.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred will consider Licensed new grads
• Experience with AVImark veterinary software a plus but will provide training as needed.
• We can offer a flexible schedule which includes weekdays, and may include some weekends as needed.
• Hourly wage and sign on bonus are commensurate with experience
