Maintenance Manager

 
What you will be doing:

·         Lead the maintenance team and provide support in a 24/7 operating environment

·         Ensure safety of all team members and contractors working in the plant

·         Develop and lead preventative/predictive maintenance, including working with hydraulics, electrical, pneumatic, power transmissions, welding, and fabrication, vibration analysis, balancing, alignment and oil analysis

·         Manage and oversee parts and maintenance programs and inventory

·         Work closely with engineering on developing plans for engineering and improvements

·         Develop & lead in process improvement, cost reduction and capital project programs


What you must have:

·         Seven (7) plus years’ directly related maintenance management experience, or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key duties of this position

·         Effective leadership skills

·         Knowledge of plant equipment, operations, predictive/preventative maintenance systems and effective project management practices

·         Demonstrated organizational, budgeting and computer skills

·         Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery through the use of blue prints, P&ID schematics and root/cause failure analysis

·         Ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff and vendors

·         Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

·         Detail oriented with high level of accuracy

·         Strong problem solving and analytical skills

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Must be proactive and have initiative

·         Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment


Nice to have:

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical)

·         Experience in wood products facilities
