Arrowhead Bible Camp is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Leadership in Disabilities program. As a member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with developmental disabilities while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling year-round experience as a member of our life-changing community.

The LID Program is perfect for young adults who are looking for full-time ministry experience and the opportunity to be mentored. The LID program also offers the opportunity for participants to take college courses for credit via an experiential learning model.

We have a staff that is passionate about discipleship and focused on your spiritual formation and growth, and we will live, work, and serve together on your journey of growth and purpose.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical and relational support to campers with developmental disabilities.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all campers.

  • Participate in camp activities and programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of campers at all times.

  • Serve as a positive role model for campers, promoting teamwork, respect, and compassion.

  • Assist with daily tasks and routines, including meal times, personal care, and recreational activities.

  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a memorable and engaging camp experience.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Age 18-25

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Entry-level experience

  • Professing Christian Evangelical faith

  • Willingness to serve the needs of campers with disabilities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities

  • Passion for disabilities ministry

  • Background in personal care industry

  • Previous camp experience

  • Interest in a career in the care/service industry

 

Position Details:

  • Compensation: $250/week cost of living allowance, with opportunities to raise missions support in addition to weekly compensation

  • Housing and food provided for the duration of employment

  • Start Date: any; no contract length required

  • Time off: varies throughout the year (weekends, 2-4 days at a time, 9-14 day breaks)
