Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher (K-5)

Soliant Education is currently seeking two Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Rayville, Missouri. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team and make a difference in the lives of students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the current Special Education Teacher to split a caseload of 32 students, ensuring effective delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs) and services
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in kindergarten through fifth grade
• Manage IEP case management and ensure pliance with servicing minutes
• Participate in potential Extended School Year (ESY) program during the summer for 25 students
• Maintain open munication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to support student success

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid Missouri teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a K-5 setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Contract Term: August 21st, 2024, to May 20th, 2025
