Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician in the RTP, North Carolina area. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our facility's electrical and control systems. If you possess the skills and expertise in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, as well as welding processes, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.
Perform welding processes including MIG and TIG.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and hardwire to prints.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using various test equipment, including multi-meters, amp probes, and data recorders.
Plan and install a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches.
Troubleshoot 120Vac single-phase to 480Vac three-phase electrical systems, along with DC motors and control systems from 24Vdc to 120Vac.
Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
Interface PCs to PLC controllers for troubleshooting equipment (Siemens and A/B PLCs).
Possess a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC License is preferred).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical maintenance preferred.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in welding processes, including MIG and TIG.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience with electrical test equipment, such as multi-meters, amp probes, and data recorders.
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
Familiarity with PLC controllers, specifically Siemens and A/B PLCs.
Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC License is preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
