Travel Possible Air Force Data Integrity (DIT) Analyst:
Position Description: Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline work processes. Plans, organizes, establishes priorities, and controls actions necessary to ensure the data integrity necessary to support the 23rd Flying Training Squadron (FTS) mission. Participates, as a member of management team, in formulating and establishing organizational policies and operating procedures for the company. Ensures accurate and timely documentation of maintenance actions on appropriate aircraft Forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). Works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. * Provides leadership to personnel through effective goal setting and communication. Aligns goals of the section with the departments and company's goals, policies, and strategies. * Conducts meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in programs, policies, and procedures. * Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports. * Conducts daily reviews of IMDS (Air Force MIS) entries, 781 series forms and documents of maintenance data input from the previous or current day (IMDS Screen #s: 100, 123, and 131). * Notifies supervision daily of any IMDS and Forms errors found and passes on to supervisors/technicians for correction. Follows- up to ensure and make sure errors identified from previous days review have been corrected. * Reviews all transcribed series 781 forms for errors and ensures they match IMDS. * Compiles end of month IMDS accuracy rates and provides to management. * Attends and participates as a key player in the weekly DIT meeting. * Assists Quality Assurance in performing program management checklist as needed. * Assists with technicians/supervisors with any Forms/IMDS issues as needed. * Reviews Job Standards (JST's) and profiles for accuracy and makes appropriate changes. * Provides IMDS (Air Force MIS) and 781 series forms training to technicians and supervisors as needed and may be required to work various shifts and/or weekends to ensure training is completed. * Assists database analyst in daily duties and validates IMDS inputs. * Plays an active part in problem resolution, communicating plan to customers, and following up to ensure problems are resolved. Identifies and ensures customer requirements are met, and assesses and analyzes data to determine customer satisfaction. * Ensures policies are in accordance with evolving instructions, regulations, legal requirements and industry trends. * Reports all deviations from established policies/procedures, changes caused by contractor, federal or state requirements and non- compliance with regulations and changes. * Maintains a working relationship and acts as a liaison with internal and external customers in order to maintain a high level of cooperation and service. * Shall perform other job-related duties as may be assigned
Additional Requirements: * High School Diploma mandatory. * Must have successfully completed formal training conducted by the US Air Force. * Must have possessed a 2R0XX or 2R1XX AFSC with a 5 skill level (7 skill level preferred) an SEI of 029 is desired but not required. * Must have a minimum of 6 years (8 or more preferred) experience in US Air Force and 2 or more years of experience managing/supervising personnel are required. * Must have in-depth knowledge of AFI 21-101, Air Force Integrated Maintenance Data System, and other applicable maintenance instructions. Previous experience as a DIT member/leader is highly desired. Rotary wing aircraft experience is desired but not mandatory. * Must possess thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, applicable maintenance/technical publications, basic tools, special tools, test equipment, Integrated Maintenance Data System, and ground support equipment. Rev 1 - June 2023 * Must be able to read and interpret technical data, maintenance instructions and other applicable data. * Must have thorough knowledge of US Air Force maintenance practices and regulations. * Must have the ability to coordinate the activities of different departments, to ensure to the timely support of the maintenance process. * Able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position. * Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS. * Must possess competent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. * Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English and be able to follow written and oral instructions. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions: * Activity is usually accomplished in a hangar, flight line, /shop or office environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with these activities. Typical physical demands or activities include climbing, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, kneeling, reaching and walking. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus. * The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to changes in temperature and weather. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards. May work near moving mechanical parts.
