Warehouse Lead

Looking to build your leadership skills in the agricultural industry? In search of a Warehouse Lead who will oversee all warehouse operations, manage a team of hourly employees, and ensure the efficient handling and storage of seed products. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a background in agricultural or seasonal operations. Hours 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday with a salary between $60K-$75K with bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee seasonal warehouse operations, including managing warehouse space, assigning outbound deliveries, and monitoring inbound activities to ensure timely unloading of trucks.
• Track and manage product storage within the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records
• Organize and handle product returns, matching returned items with inventory records
• Conduct quality sampling of products, assessing their quality, and returning them to storage if they meet quality standards.
• Oversee rework processes, including pulling items from inventory, staging them for rework, and returning them to the warehouse.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff on safety protocols and job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably in an agricultural or seasonal environment.
• Familiarity with SAP is a significant advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays during peak seasons.
• Openness to candidates with farming backgrounds
