Job Title: School Based Tele-Speech Pathologist Job in Montana

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and dedicated Tele-Speech Pathologist in Montana to join our team in a school-based position. As a Tele-Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality speech-language services through telepractice. This is a 1099 contract position, offering flexibility and the ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities through telepractice.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students via telepractice, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to develop and implement appropriate strategies to support students' speech and language goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Montana license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school-based setting.
  • Experience or willingness to learn and adapt to telepractice platforms and technology.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills in speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other team members.
  • Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
  • Reliable internet connection, computer/laptop, and video conferencing capabilities to facilitate telepractice sessions.
  • Understanding of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
