New opportunity for an Optometrist to join a thriving private practice in Reedsburg, WI $120,000-$160,000, no weekends!

This booming full-scope practice is in the process of moving to a new 8 lane, 5,000 sq.ft. facility and plan to have an Ophthalmologist in the practice once per week for direct cataract co-management. They are looking to add a full-time Optometrist to their new space in June 2024.

This practice utilizes the best equipment in order to properly diagnose an array of vision disorders and diseases: TRS Automated Refracting System, digital footlamp, OCT, retinal camera, ERG, AdaptDx VR, Tonography, Visual Field, Marco Eyecare Cards, visual acuity screens, and Neurolens VR.

Overview of the position:

  • M-F only, no weekends
  • 9-5:30 daily; 10-6:30 Tuesdays
  • EHR: Revolution
  • Utilize up-to-date testing equipment
  • Tech assistance for pre-testing
  • Patients are scheduled every 30 minutes, with one follow-up per hour
  • Patient base covers all ages

Responsibilities of the Optometrist:

  • See 22-24 patients per day in total
  • Provide routine vision exams
  • Fit soft contact lenses as needed
  • Cataract surgery evals and post-op exams
  • Occasional LASIK evals and post-op exams
  • Handle eye emergencies (metallic foreign bodies, i.e.)
  • Opportunity for myopia management, dry eye treatment

Compensation Package:

  • Earn $120,000-$160,000
  • 401K with 3% match

Minimum qualifications:
