This is a Direct Hire position for 2nd shift paying $32.50/hr.

What’s a typical day as an HVAC Technician? You’ll be:

  • Servicing, supporting, and maintaining HVAC equipment within the determined location
  • Performing HVAC and mechanical systems preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Following manufacturer’s recommended preventative HVAC maintenance schedules and startup procedures
  • Diagnosing malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical, HVAC, and pneumatic sketches, drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Inspecting and testing systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications
  • Discussing heating/cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or verify corrections
  • Utilizing software to track and prioritize maintenance work


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Have an AS Degree in a related field + a minimum of 2 years of experience OR Trade Certificate + 6 years of experience OR 6 years of relevant experience OR Department of Labor (DOL) Journeyman’s Certificate
  • Have a Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Have the ability to coordinate programs and perform cross-functionally
  • Have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing heating and cooling equipment
  • Have knowledge of electrical distribution systems
  • Have strong interpersonal and customer service communication skills
  • Have previous work order tracking and preventative maintenance system knowledge (a plus)
