Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates proficiency in all Apprentice related duties and responsibilities.
• Disassemble complex molds, including those with 2-stage ejections and injected cores.
• Handle manifolds requiring heating valve pins for removal.
• Heat and test manifolds, ensuring proper functionality.
• Proficiently operate intermediate-level Bridgeport machines.
• Demonstrate competence in intermediate-level lathe operations.
• Execute intermediate-level surface grinding with precision.
• Operate automatic surface grinding equipment efficiently.
• Perform press spotting tasks as required.
• Spot complex components with precision and accuracy.
• Manage timing and fitting details, including Slide Gibbs, Wear Pads, Lifter Rods, and Pressure Pads.
• Mentor and training of low skilled associates.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Intermediate level candidates must demonstrate proficiency for all apprentice and intermediate level skills; and have at least 3 years of experience as a mold maker.
• Ability to perform under pressure and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required.
• Ability to ensure quality standards are met.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
• Proficient in time management and communication skills.
