Industrial Maintenance Technician Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
· Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production related equipment
· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
· Installing new production equipment
· Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
· Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
· As needed, must take calls after hours, some weekends, and holidays
· Adhere to work and safety rules, as well as Lockout/Tagout procedures
· Assist with other tasks as needed
· Be cross trained to perform other duties
Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance is required
Advanced understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics
Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
Most electrical repairs require knowledge of 480v/240v/110v
