Production Manager

• Supervises all production staff in the facility to ensure all manufacturing runs reliably and efficiently
• Hires, trains, and reviews performances of production employees
• Foster team environment while mentoring junior leadership team members
• Champion quality control and food safety standards
• Ensures all production employees adhere to and practice the regulations and standards of food safety and personal safety
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment
• Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures
• Demonstrates the knowledge of equipment and machines utilized for production in the facility
• Participates in audits, training, and meetings to implement corrective practices and maintain proper procedures
• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects with production teams

• Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree or other related education preferred
• 2-3 years of applicable job experience
• Experience in a leadership position, preferably in a production role
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and operations
• Experience and license working with a forklift preferred
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
