About this job
I'm a 64-year-old man with an incomplete SCI and am a paraplegic. I need daily assistance 5 days a week for 3-5 hours a day while my partner works. His work schedule is usually in the late afternoon and evening.
As a paraplegic, I need someone who is comfortable performing the following tasks (not every day for every task):
- transfers using a hoyer lift
- drain urinary catheter bag
- groom, bathe, shower, clothe
- light meal prep
- light housekeeping/laundry
- Potty run for two medium sized dogs
The pups are protective of me until they meet someone and receive "treats" (provided (wink)). Then they are very friendly. So dog people are preferred.
